FRU-FRU: THE TALES OF THE FAIRIES
THE TALES OF THE FAIRIESThe Forest, Sea, Sun and Fire Fairies will take us into the mysterious world of fairy tales and reveal the secrets of the four natural elements: water, earth, fire and air. The fairies tell about the creation of the Earth and of the first drop in the sea. We get to know the daughter of the sun and witness the power of the fire that separates a princess from her chosen one forever.
Children are fascinated by magical and unusual creatures, which can also be fairly simple.
They help children develop their creativity, and in an unobtrusive and charming way excite feelings in them with which they better understand the world around. Fairy tales in this show are a combination of folk stories with minimalistic elements of puppetry.
The Fairies tell stories:
Forest Fairy: How the Earth was created, an Indian fairy tale
Sea Fairy: The Raven and the Whale, an Inuit fairy tale
Fire Fairy: The Flying Trunk, H. C. Andersen
Sun Fairy: The Sun's Daughter, a Sicilian fairy tale
This performance is a combination of puppetry and narration, and is a project of four distinguished Slovene puppet artists. It is suitable for children aged 4 and above, and is 60 minutes long. The performance of only two fairy tales is 35 minutes long.
