FRU-FRU: GOLDIE THE LITTLE MOLE
One sunny day the little Mole poked his head out from the underground to see
whether the sun had already risen. Then it happened. It looked a little like a sausage and it landed right on his head. “How rude,” cried the Mole. “Who did a poo on my head?” But short sighted as he was, he did not see anybody.
Through the meetings of the little Mole with with the animals from the nearby field and their small and big poos, children become aware in a funny way that all living creatures do “these things” that adults adults are not willing to talk about. But for a child of two a full potty can be a very important event.
The show was made as an adaptation of Werner Holzwarth’s picture book The Mole Who Knew It Was None Of His Business. It has received areward at The 4th. Biennale of The Slovene Puppet Artists Institution in Koper, September 2007
