Puppet shows
FRU-FRU plays 250 performances annually and performs several plays abroad a year. It regularly takes part at the Biennale of Slovenian puppets. With its twenty live performances, in the production sense, stands before all Slovenian non-institutional puppet theatres.
In order to facilitate the orientation of the side and the selection of performances, we divided them into age groups – for the youngest from 18 months onwards, for kids aged four years and for school kids. This is the lowest recommended age of children, which of course means that schoolchildren can easily watch performances for the younger ones.

During the ban on public events and schooling from home, we enable kindergartens and schools to include our performances in their distance learning processes. With the House of Children and Arts, we are preparing a comprehensive program that includes access to a recording of the show and, if desired, a discussion with the team of creators on how the show is created: with a director, playwright, puppet actor, animation and various puppetry techniques live via ZOOM or your online classrooms.

All performances are suitable for children from the age of 3 and for the first and the beginning of the second triad of primary school.
Our puppet workshops Lutkalnica are already available to you free of charge, which can serve as teaching material for making puppets and adapting a song and dramatizing a fairy tale.
The price for one-time access to the show with an unlimited number of spectators for one day of viewing (estimated for 2 school hours) and for a live interview with the creators is gross 300 euros or by arrangement for smaller groups.
