This show is based on the charm of a children drawing, its effortless and carefree playfullness. Poetic story about a girl looking for her lost ball is thus put into an appropriate frame. The impetus of the show is the creativity of the children drawing, serving as the base of the simple transposition from two into three dimensions, and complementation of the two. The show My Umbrella is a Balloon Too encourages children to engage in the creative play.
This marionette show is suitable for children between 3 and 10. In addition to the award for animation at the Klemenčičevi dnevi Festival in 1997, it was also awarded with 5 stars for the best children show at the Fringe Festival in Edinburgh in 1999. The show made a guest appearance at numerous festivals in Italy, France and Great Britain.
