Matevž the cook wants to prepare a vegetable omelette, but he forgot to buy eggs. How to bake an omelette without eggs? He comes up with an idea and brings a big dusty egg from the pantry. “It is an ostrich egg! It will be large enough for my omelette”, Matevž the cook happily smiles and brake’s the egg. “It huuurts!” a voice shouts from a frying pan and a duck’s head peeks from the cracked shell. “Are you my mother? Father?” The cook realizes he won’t be baking an omelette today. There is nothing left but to play with a duckling.  What games do little ducks like? Their favourite play is hide-and-seek, playing with a ball and drumming on the pots. The table cloth becomes a wide sea a bathtub a pirate ship. Duckling Nace also loves stories about knights and together with Matevž they rescue a princess from a scary dragon.
